Keynote Speaker - MIKE GREENBERG
For 15 years, sports fans have been waking up with Mike Greenberg – half of ESPN Radio’s weekday morning Mike & Mike, the perfect sports fan complement to his ex-jock co-host former NFLer Mike Golic. The show (6 – 10 a.m. ET), simulcast on ESPN2 since 2005, is available on ESPN Radio, ESPNradio.com, ESPN Radio app, SiriusXM and ESPN affiliates across the country.
“Greeny,” joined ESPN in September 1996 as an anchor for the November launch of ESPNEWS. He later anchored SportsCenter for many years, even long after assuming the daily radio duties in December 1999. It is through the morning radio show, however, that Greenberg has become best known. The program was first seen on ESPNEWS in 2004 and on ESPN2 since January 2005.
In 2007, Greenberg’s first book, Why My Wife Thinks I’m an Idiot, spent five weeks on the New York Times bestsellers list and was nominated for a Quill Award. It was the humorous self-deprecating account of his life as sports fan and husband. In April 2010, Greenberg, along with Golic, released Mike & Mike’s Rules for Sports and Life, which reached #3 on the New York Times bestsellers list.
In April 2013, Greenberg debuted his first novel, All You Could Ask For. The novel, which was listed on the New York Times bestsellers list, is written from the perspectives of three women, strangers confronted with cancer diagnoses, who find each other while confronting their own battles with the disease. 100% of the proceeds from the novel will be donated to the V Foundation for Cancer Research. In January 2015, Greenberg’s second novel, My Father’s Wives, hit stores.
Greenberg is a 1989 graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. The New York City native is married and has two children.
Steve Anderson is a seasoned business and technology veteran speaking on using technology in practical ways that are down to earth, effective, and will actually improve profits.
Steve understands that talking about technology can overwhelm some people and his excitement and passion about using technology is contagious. For the last 15 years he has crossed the nation speaking at places like SAFECO, AAA, Nationwide, as well as small and midsize engagements.
Steve knows how to translate what some people think of as “geek-speak” into practical terms that connect with his audience.

Claudia St. John, SPHR
Claudia St. John is president of Affinity HR Group, LLC, a national HR and management consulting firm. She is a human resources professional with more than 20 years experience in global human resources, employee benefits, management consulting and communications. She specializes in strategic planning, employee engagement, organizational development, recruitment and coaching.
Claudia’s prior experience includes serving as senior consultant for Mercer Human Resources Consulting, the nation’s top HR consulting firm, in Washington DC and Geneva Switzerland, Vice President for People for POMCO Group, Manager of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s National Labor Office and Senior Policy Associate for the AFL-CIO. She holds an undergraduate degree in employee benefits and labor relations from The American University and a master’s degree in business and public administration from The George Washington University. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and also holds DISC, PIAV, EQ and TriMetrix HD Certifications.
Sabrena R. Sally, CPCU
Sabrena Sally is a Senior Vice President of Swiss Reinsurance Corporate Solutions. As the business leader of the Insurance Agents and Brokers Professional Liability program in the United States, Sabrena is responsible for the insurance agency errors and omissions program endorsed by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. The IIABA program has been in place with Swiss Re for close to thirty years.
Sabrena’s extensive career with Swiss Re includes positions as Underwriting Manager of the Accountants Professional liability, Architects & Engineers, and Media/Electronic E&O Liability programs. She earned her CPCU in 1995, and actively engages in speaking and writing on professional liability industry issues. Sabrena currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. From there, she manages a countrywide 16-member team of professional liability underwriting experts.
Sam Friedman is the Insurance research leader at the Deloitte Center for Financial Services, putting his journalistic skills and three decades of industry experience to good use analyzing the latest trends and identifying the major challenges confronting the property-casualty and life insurance industries. Sam joined Deloitte in October 2010 after 29 years at National Underwriter P&C, where he served as editor-in chief.
Deputy Superintendent Stephen Doody joined the Department of Financial Services on November 2, 2015 to head up the Property Bureau. Prior to his appointment, he was at Allen & Overy LLP for fourteen years, where he led the US portion of its worldwide insurance practice. Earlier professional positions included being a Senior Attorney at Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft, Asst. General Counsel at Risk Enterprise Management, and General Counsel and Asst. Special Deputy Superintendent at the New York State Insurance Department Liquidation Bureau. He is a graduate of Fordham University and Albany Law School.
Over the course of his career, Deputy Superintendent Doody has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of legal and regulatory issues for property and casualty insurers from the perspectives of a regulator, outside counsel, a receiver, in house counsel, and a board member. He hopes and expects to apply those multiple perspectives to the regulatory activities of the Property Bureau. He is also mindful that many look to New York as a lead regulator on issues that are seen as important in the insurance market, and is looking forward to working with the industry and other stakeholders on such issues.
Sydney Roe is the Digital Content Manager for TrustedChoice.com, a licensed insurance agent and a millenial. She started working in her father’s insurance agency as the producer who championed social media marketing. She now helps create and implement innovative content marketing strategies responsible for driving millions of consumers through TrustedChoice.com. Sydney has continued to evolve the digital marketing conversation and engage insurance agents through multiple presentations at state associations. David W. Tralka
David W. Tralka is President and CEO of InsurBanc. Mr. Tralka is responsible for keeping the bank focused on being an innovative provider of financial products and services for the independent agency community.
Mr. Tralka brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the helm of InsurBanc. He is a well-known speaker on the topics of agency mergers and acquisitions, agency perpetuation, and financing and has presented on these topics at numerous venues nationwide.
As a seasoned banker, Mr. Tralka’s career is distinguished by an extensive tenure at Merrill Lynch where he served in a number of senior management positions including President of Merrill Lynch Bank and Trust in Princeton, NJ, and Chairman of Merrill Lynch Community Development Company.
Mr. Tralka holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA in economics from Cornell University.
Dan Maher is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Excess Line Association of New York (“ELANY”). The Association is a statutorily created industry advisory association responsible for facilitating and encouraging compliance with New York’s excess line law.
Mr. Maher is also an attorney licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York and a number of federal courts. Prior to joining ELANY in 1997, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel with Lancer Insurance Company for fifteen years.
Mr. Maher is a registered lobbyist in New York State and has influenced a number of changes to the New York State insurance law.
Mr. Maher holds the professional insurance designation Association in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) and is a frequent speaker on current issues affecting the property and casualty insurance industry.
Ron Beiderman is vice president of commercial lines coverage products at ISO. He has primary responsibility for overseeing the research, development, implementation, and maintenance of policy forms, manual rules, and loss costs for ISO's Commercial Lines programs.
He plays a key role in ISO's emerging issues initiative, writing on emerging issues such as drones and cyber insurance.
Mr. Beiderman’s expertise has been featured in a wide range of business and insurance media, including CNBC.com, Independent Agent, Insurance Journal, and Rough Notes. He has also represented ISO at numerous industry forums where he has spoken on emerging issues, additional insured issues, construction defect coverage issues, and general liability trends and developments. He started his career at ISO and has held positions in the Commercial Property, General Liability, and Specialty Commercial Lines Divisions.
Ron graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and communications from Rutgers University and has earned the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
